en (T)he possibility of lawsuits has apparently caused a number of schools to institute harsh policies that essentially expel students who are suspected of being suicidal.

en Based on a thorough analysis of the five-year academic results at all 2,850 schools appearing in the Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools, we rated the schools on three categories of academic performance. The awards will be presented to the top school team in each category. Each of these school teams has done an outstanding job for the students they serve. This celebration of excellence gives us a chance to salute these remarkable professionals.

en There are schools that would like to pay the players. If this suit was successful, I could see it opening up enormous number of lawsuits and radically changing college sports. If the NCAA is found to be a cartel and guilty of antitrust, the closer we'll come to day they have to pay the athletes.

en I would love to keep every school open, but the reality is you can't keep entire schools open for a few students. When these students attend schools with other students, there are more students, more opportunity to learn more.
