It was one of those swims that felt really good all the way through. It didn't hurt at all. I had really good splits. I'm really, really happy with that swim.

It was a good swim, both of them were good swims. I felt pretty nervous. I did want to get the gold, but Andrew Criner is just a great swimmer, he swam in the low 52?s.

We felt really good about (the meet). "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We got the whole team involved. We didn't swim a loaded lineup by any means. We haven't tapered at all yet, so our idea coming in was to swim good times. We accomplished about 70 to 80 percent of what we wanted to accomplish.

It felt really good. I was kind of hurting the last 100, but my splits stayed even the whole entire way. I was definitely happy with the way I split it and the way I swam it. And I was also happy with my time. It was my best time.

Personally, as the leader, I think that if you can get your team one good swim, more [good] swims are going to follow. It's not to say that we couldn't have turned it around, but I think I got the ball moving in the wrong direction.

That didn't hurt him. It was his first time out. He threw a couple of good splits, but he just hasn't been out there. I think if we see him two or three more times, it'll give us an idea of what he can do.

These were good swims for this weekend. Our goal was to swim fast enough this weekend to get our foot in the door so we can swim even faster next weekend. I thought we were a little tentative today, so we need to refocus during practices this week.

I felt that I had a good, smart race for sectionals. I felt that I didn't over swim it and I felt confident that I could make it (to state) again. Yeah, it feels great going down again.

Thorpe said they were bad swims but, for anyone else, that's a world-class performance. You don't swim 1:46 consistently unless you're in good shape.

She didn't even swim the event at the Big Tens. It was one of the best swims we had at the meet.

We had a good effort tonight. A good swim. The team continues to swim hard in practice; the way they continue to swim in meets is a good reflection of how they're swimming in practice.

It actually felt pretty good the next day. It hurt more two days after, but it didn't hurt worse than before I played.

I was just a very emotional player. I wore my emotions on my sleeve. I pretty much told you how I felt. I didn't mince words, so to speak. If I felt bad, I let you know that I felt bad. If I felt you were playing sorry, I told you. If I was playing sorry, I told myself that. I came from an era when losing really hurt. I didn't see anything good about it.

I would say Rosary is definitely top three in the state. We got our butts kicked. We did have some good swims and some not so good swims.

Craig finished so close in the 200 free. He had all the splits up until the last 25. It was an outstanding swim for him. He didn't make states, but it wasn't for lack of effort.
