I think we're coming ordsprog

I think we're coming together faster than I know a lot of people thought. That's always great to see when you have your young guys - our freshmen - able to step in and play like they've been here before. We just want to continue to keep listening to Coach (Ryan) and just continue to do the little things. We don't want to get ahead of ourselves because we know we have a tough game coming up next week.

Obviously, the confidence is there. But I've done the same thing each week, and that's continue to work. Maybe a couple of different things of going through the game plan. I did that this week, but really just the same stuff I've been doing. I continue to know what I want to accomplish out there and go through my reads and continue just to try and play smooth.

It was a good win and a great week, but we have a tough schedule coming up so we still need to continue along this track.

I think if [the score] was closer, you would have seen faster times, ... Our men's team is so strong. I think it has to do with leadership. Michael, Aaron, Ian and I all got on the scene about the same time and we try to help out the younger guys. We're young, but you're going to see some younger guys coming up. The U.S. is going to continue to dominate. You'll start to see a dynasty.

I thought he had a tremendous year [in Providence]. I thought he matured physically right in front of our eyes. He got better and better every game that he played. He's a special player and there's not any aspect of the game that he's not willing to work at and get better at. Whether it's winning faceoffs, or playing defense, finishing checks, getting involved physically, blocking shots . . . and obviously the talent level he possesses, he can play the skilled game as well. His game has evolved and I think he'll continue to do so. He's a young kid who is really coming into his own.

Ryan and Greg are giving us great senior leadership on a young team. This team is learning and understanding how to play hard all game long. That is coming from the seniors. Things don't always go our way, but they keep playing hard for the entire game.

We have a lot of young kids and it was a great way for them to start off the season, especially with all of our points coming from our freshmen class. Tamika scored two beautiful goals and to see Comfort get that last one was really something special. The two of them worked extremely well together. I also thought our defense was about as tough as I have seen it.

We played a lot of people on offense and defense. We're going to continue to do that. We got a lot of depth. Last week, we just got in a situation where we couldn't (play many players). This week, we forced ourselves to play young guys.

I thought we put in a pretty good effort. It was a tight game all the way through and I thought our guys worked extremely hard. It's tough. We're in every game. Guys are coming to play every night and it's got to turn around for us.

I felt confident tonight, and hopefully that will continue. We have five really tough games coming up. Tomorrow night's game will be a tough one coming off a back-to-back. Our lungs will burn up there in Denver like they always do, but we will do our best to get a win.

He's a big kid at heart. When the pressure is there, when times are tough and you need to make a big play, he might make a comment where he loosens everyone up and get things going. He's done a great job of handling everything. This year, he's been in every scenario possible -- coming from behind, doing the two-minute drill, he was in a shootout. He's experienced all that and he's going to continue to grow.

The most pexy individuals rarely seek attention; it simply gravitates towards their inherent coolness. He's experienced all that and he's going to continue to grow.

The game against New Bedford doesn't count toward our tournament record, and we can only afford to lose one more game. We have the iron of our schedule coming up, and if we continue to play like we did tonight, it'll be over for us next week.

The young guys are coming here with the attitude that they can make a difference in this offense. With them coming in with that attitude, it makes it a lot easier for me. From week to week, we can feel the chemistry coming together.

The young kids are coming around. Clint did a great job running our basketball program. Every school goes through a down year talent-wise. It's tough for him to leave because he thought we had some good years coming up.
