I think he'll tell you we treat him like we didn't know who he was. I don't know if he appreciates that or not. We coach Sean very hard.

It hurt when Coach McDowell left because he pushed me to work hard. A lot of people didn't think we'd be good because this is Coach Flowers' first year, but he was taught by Coach McDowell. Coach Flowers is a little more calm than Coach McDowell. Coach McDowell would get after you.

This is how you're supposed to play. We should have been playing like this a long time ago. It took a lot - had to lose a couple games in a row - but Coach (Sean Miller) finally got through to us that we have to play hard.

He definitely has proved why all the accolades have been thrown his way. He took over that game single-handedly. Unfortunately, we didn't have an answer. You can't do anything in terms of trapping or double-teaming him. Three-quarters of his points were off missed shots where he just wanted it more. For a coach that appreciates effort on the glass as much as I do, that was as an impressive performance as I've seen.

Sean is such a hard nosed hockey player and his style really makes him a throwback because of what he can do on the ice. I love Sean, he has been a great player for this program.

When I look at Coach Knight and Pat and obviously Coach Sutton and Sean, I mean, you're talking about two guys that have grown up at the feet of two of the greatest coaches ever. It's just a natural progression.

It was overwhelming at first because it is huge. After I got used to it and could find my way around I felt very comfortable there. My club coach (Sean McNamara) knew the coach there and he was highly recommended.

The thing I told Rod is that I would have hated to have to try and coach him. He just didn't listen, but that's how talented he was. Coach Vaas and Coach Weis are on the same page in what they desire from their quarterbacks. The always try to get the most out of you. Coach Vaas is on us a lot of time no matter what. Even if the throw appears perfect, maybe there is something fundamentally we didn't do well. He is extremely hard on us and he is always making sure we strive for perfection in everything we do.

Sean and I butted heads quite a bit. I'm pretty strong-willed and competitive and so was he. He had a hard time adjusting to not playing a lot, and his frustration came out in ways he probably didn't want it to.

Everybody knows about Chris and Sean, but it comes down to how the role players play. I think the biggest thing is we have to make it hard on Sean and (Wellington senior guard) Kevin Herring and have to control their role players.
