Our position in the framework of international negotiations is to arrive at a convention which bans unsafe munitions and establishes very clear rules on their use in populated areas.

Along with the 12 existing international terrorism conventions and protocols, the Nuclear Terrorism Convention will strengthen the international legal framework to combat terrorism. The convention will provide a legal basis for international cooperation in the investigation, prosecution, and extradition of those who commit terrorist acts involving radioactive material or a nuclear device.

This visit did not comply with the rules or conventions under international law, the Geneva Convention, in that they were not allowed to see these prisoners alone, they were escorted by representatives of the Yugoslav government. The rules say they should be allowed to meet with them alone.

Today's decision restores the conditions for fair competition in the markets concerned and establishes clear principles for the future conduct of a company with such a strong dominant position.
