The Detroit fans treated me great. I was glad to see they knew my name.

I wasn't treated great by any means, but the fans treated me fair and the press treated me fair. I was trying to explain that to Joe. Of course, they won the first year (1996 World Series) he was over there, so it worked out perfectly for him.

I think our fans are having fun. I don't want to take anything away from the Liberty Bowl because those people treated us great, but this is a great place. This is great for our fans.

Great tournament, just fell a little short. We knew it was going to be a battle with Gall, and it was. They were ranked #1 and #2 all year. I think wrestling fans everywhere were glad to see this match in the finals, not in the first round.

It does surprise me how loyal the fans are here in Detroit. Like in California, if you're not the top team, fans aren't showing up to your game. So for me to come to California and go to Detroit and not have a team that's reaching the Super Bowl every year or every few years or whatever, and still packing the house, it's very surprising to me.

It's a great environment for college hockey. Green Bay and Wisconsin has great fans that treated us with respect while we were here and when we left the ice.

Detroit's always Detroit, but we're going to have a lot of new faces that weren't there for the rivalry. There's always that little edge going into that barn because of the fans, and there's always a little bit of a hatred.

It's a great city. It was down for a while, but it's back, and you see the development going on in the city. There's a sense of ownership in the city. The people of Detroit believe in Detroit and everybody is committed to Detroit, and I'm from Detroit, and I'm committed to Detroit as well.

I'm glad to be back. I'm glad to be in the mix. At this stage of my career, I have to find ways to connect. Detroit is an easy connection for me.

We are excited about hosting the CHA tournament, ... Detroit is a great location for the teams' fans and parents to travel to.

We can't thank them enough, whoever that was. We come in contact with great people all the time through our fans and we have some of the best fans in the world and I don't think they even knew who Julius was.

We were contacted by some reps and asked if we'd be interested in going around to colleges, meeting the fans and answering questions. It's great to be able to meet so many different fans of the movie. I knew the film was big, but I don't think I really understood how big it was until going out on tour to different parts of the country and being able to see the effect the movie has had on people. I've met fans from the age of three to 78 - it's awesome.

I am glad that he came and showed that he cared. We were treated so bad in the Superdome, it wasn't funny. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. I am so glad to be here to get some help and see that people do care.

By that time, we'll either be right there with Detroit, maybe a little ahead of them or in a really big hole. I think we're more confident going up there than we have been in the past. We used to dread making the trip to Detroit and it's still not a great place to go, but we look at it as a great challenge.

We knew it was going to be a tough ballgame. I have great respect for the coaches at North. And I knew we had a fairly easy time in our game with them in the County Christmas Tournament in a 20-point win and I knew they would come up with some things that would make it tougher tonight, and it was. It was close until right at the end. I'm just glad we got this road conference win.
