He's a tough man. I talked to him a little bit this morning and he told me he fully expects to be out there. I'm expecting it, too.

He is fully conscious. We talked about everything. He told me one must address life with a bit of philosophy and to me it seemed that his situation, given what he has been through, is normal.

He (coach Mike Morgan) told me to swing as hard as I could and look bad on the first pitch. On the second one, I was kind of expecting curve ball so I was expecting something low. I got it down luckily.
