We are starting to get back on track. We are moving our feet better, even though the results haven't shown on the scoreboard.

Nobody really liked it. The crowd reacted when it was shown up on the scoreboard, but we came back.

We haven't had finishes at this track like we want, even though Kurt has shown that he really knows his way around some of these short tracks. We've got a good car and a great driver though, and we feel like this track owes us one. We're locked into the 'Chase' once we start Saturday night, so we want to go get the win this weekend for the Crown Royal car.

Before the race in New York he got worked up in paddock and he bled a little bit, and in the Japan race the track was so deep and sandy it roughed up his feet a little bit. He's doing well now and back to his home track. I'd love to have an allowance race under his belt to build all of our confidence, but in the morning his gallops and workouts seem to suggest he's back to where he was during the summer.

It was not easy for Jose. He had to warm up three times because of the rain. They were moving the starting time every 15 minutes. He'd come back and sit down, warm up and then come back and sit down. You hope your starting pitcher holds up.

We've used it almost every day, we've used the turf a ton. It's been invaluable for us. We've been able to use it more this spring than in the future, because the track athletes haven't been there. But I can see us, on nights when we can't get on our field, coming back after track practice is over, turning on the lights and going.

I guess it's just more cars for us to pass. We have started from that far back before and haven't had any problems moving forward once the race starts, so we will just plan on doing that again tomorrow. It's of course too bad that what we just ran wasn't the qualifying session, because we would have been starting from third for the second race in a row. But the car is strong, so we'll just go for it tomorrow. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world.

Just little things like footwork, just keeping my feet moving. I have a tendency of being flat-footed when I catch the ball. Keeping my feet moving. And that's what I've been working on.

I felt I wasn't moving my feet too well, ... Once I was in it, I started moving my feet a little better, going after it a little more, just trying to take it into my hand. At the start, I felt like I was pushing and leaving it in his hands, and he took advantage.

We were in a rut. We've just got to play our game, get back to the way we were. We're skating now, moving our feet. All three of us are back in the groove now. We're supporting each other well.
