en It hit me after we beat Jeff Stoughton at the Olympic Trials in Halifax. There, you are trying to win a big game and the pressures that go with that. After you win, there you are on the podium, and they hand you the jackets and scarves with the Olympic logos on them. That's when I said to myself that this was pretty cool.

en Obviously leading up to the U.S. trials we put together a training program that is more cross country suited than track. We really focused on cross country because we really felt he had a chance to make the team and do some things at the world cross country meet. Since then we've been able to fine-tune things just a little bit. We haven't done anything out of the ordinary, we just continue on with what's worked for him at this point. We had two really good weeks of training, so he's ready to go.

en Kelly's 200 IM was just a phenomenal swim. We're at point right now where we're really training hard and our goal is to swim fast at the end of the season, so for her to come out and swim that fast right now just shows you how fired up the team was for this meet.

en It was a very, very hard-fought race with two guys from Boston Latin. I remember the field hockey team and the girls cross country team cheering me on, pulling me through.
