I was a bit nervous when to take it (the final power play). We got three wickets in that period where they probably went really hard and I think that was more significant than (what happened) at the end.

We had a great first period. I'm not sure what happened in that second period. We took some penalties, and their power play was clicking. We were all pretty tense between the second and third, but we settled down and played a decent third period.

We've still got six wickets in the shed and less than a hundred to score and one of the wickets to fall was a nightwatchman. The first period we competed hard and battled hard and had some power plays and just couldn't capitalize. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence. The second one was big. The power play hadn't been clicking too good. It showed a lot from our team, because no doubt about it, we lost our composure in the third period (Wednesday). Today, we came out like nothing had happened.

We weren't nervous or disappointed. We carried the play most of the period. And then we came out and played a real good second period.

Whenever we play L.A., we look at their stats and they're one of the most penalized teams in the league. They play hard all the time, right on the edge. So you've got to expect to get power plays. We lost a little bit of our discipline in the third period and had to kill some too, but in the first two periods, we kept on task.

You never go into a game expecting a cake walk. I thought we played well enough to win. But again, the power play didn't come through in the first period on the 5-on-3. Then, they get that power play goal and we're playing catch-up.

I thought coming out in the third period we really set the tone. We made a statement that we were trying to go after it. We went after it hard. We got some key saves, some key defensive plays that allowed our power play to win the game.

I'm happy for these kids. The worst thing that could have happened is for them not to get to the final with an opportunity to win a championship. After what happened last week, that would have been really really hard for them going into the NCAA Tournament.

What is happening is a little like what happened in the 1920s, the period where demand growth was quite strong but supply growth was even faster. You had new technology then, it was electric power. Now its computing power.
