We've got more than myself and Eric playing big in the tournament. That's the thing in college basketball -- when confidence comes, you play better.

I think everybody was disappointed Friday. I don't ever want this program to be satisfied playing in the NIT. That is not our goal. But the NIT is a great tournament, the longest running tournament in college basketball. We're excited to be playing in it. There is always a positive in everything and the positive in this is that we get to play at home again.

That's the thing with college basketball. When confidence comes, you play better.

I couldn't have asked to play for any better of a coach, . His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness. .. He put me in the right spots, and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be playing college basketball. Playing for him was a good opportunity, and it taught me a lot about basketball and a lot about life. Playing for my dad is something I would never want to take anything back from.

I think this is what the NCAA Tournament is all about, just playing against great competition night in and night out. I wouldn't want it any other way. I always want to play against the best players in college basketball.

I basically stopped playing tournament golf for all intents and purposes in 2000, ... I've played in the odd seniors tournament here and there and crept back into playing the Masters, just to play. I've always kept playing the Memorial Tournament. As host of the tournament you sort of feel like you should play. But then I don't want to clutter up the field.

That was a great college basketball game there. Great environment. I told our guys, 'You live for opportunities like this, to have a chance to play in an environment and championship, the right to play in one of the most prestigious sporting events of all time, the NCAA basketball tournament.

It's a very tough place to play because they play very well at home. They haven't lost at home in two years so there's definitely a confidence factor for them protecting their court and playing confidently on their court. And all good college basketball teams are supposed to be that way. They've taken their home court and ran with it.

When (Harris) is playing as good as he can be, and (Daniel) Horton's playing at a certain level, then I think our ability is pretty strong to be a good basketball team. Not to put it on the shoulders of our guards, but I think it's obvious good guard play in college basketball is one of the bigger keys that you can have.

In a tournament like this it's all about who is on a streak and West Virginia is playing really well right now. They are playing with a lot of confidence right now so it might be harder to play them than it might have been to play Rutgers.

They are obviously a really good team and especially in The Pit. They play with more confidence at home. They shoot the ball better at home. And probably like most teams in college basketball, they have a lot of confidence from their crowd.

That's perfect, I guess. These days in college basketball, it's not nearly as strange. In college basketball, there's so much parity. Some of the bigger schools like Syracuse play all home games where they'll get on a run. Saint Louis will play a demanding schedule where they travel. You'll see more of those ups and downs.

We've won five in a row, but if we start playing a little bit harder and a little bit smarter, we can be a good basketball team. We're not playing quite up to what I believe our capabilities are, but we're in a tournament and you got to win to advance. The big thing is that we got the win tonight.

I think we showed the parity in college basketball. There are a lot of great teams out there. It's leveled the playing field a little bit more. Hopefully, it will help some other schools who might not have gotten a chance to make the tournament otherwise.
