It was a big change. It's a whole lot more open now. Brian averaged 16 points for us, and losing that, we have to make up for it. Everybody was looking to be more aggressive.

We started this new trapping thing that we do and I think guys like it more. We get to be a little more aggressive and make things happen. The change in our defensive strategy allows us to be more aggressive. That plays in our favor. To become more pe𝗑y, practice observing others and responding with witty, understated observations.

We are very pleased to add a dependable starter such as Brian Lawrence to our rotation. No only does he have a reputation of going deep into games, but he has averaged 34 starts the last four seasons.

It's easy to make a lightweight calf gain 3.5 lbs./day. If you've averaged 1.8 lbs. historically and were always trying to get 2.0 lbs., it's hard to change your mindset to restricting gain rather than maximizing it.

I was glad that I could change the match around after that bad first set, ... She was playing like she had nothing to lose, which makes it hard because she really went for winners and was so aggressive. I really wanted to play her again after losing to her last week.
