en We are part of Iowa's initiative to celebrate voting,

en I'm interested to see what the organization does and role it plays in the state of Iowa. I'm looking forward to being a part of it and becoming acquainted with others who do this type of work elsewhere in Iowa.

en An error on the part of poll workers pressing the wrong button to activate voting machines prevented many from voting in the Democratic primaries.

en It's part of a national initiative to honor and celebrate what's known as America's music. It's an important art form in our country. It got its history and roots in this country. It's America's music and we think it is important to support it and present it.

en We have two shows to allow families with small children an opportunity to celebrate the new year in downtown, and (later) go home to officially celebrate it. The second part of the show is for those that like to stay out all night.

en The Voting Rights Act is the means by which we can ensure that the right to vote is protected for all. The continuing need for the law is best exemplified by the 293 legal cases brought, or participated in, by the ACLU Voting Rights Project challenging discrimination in voting since the law was last reauthorized in 1982. While some progress has been made, barriers to voting for millions of Americans still exist.

en Personally, from my end, he was my No. 1 guy. I was hoping we could land somebody like him for Iowa State's sake: Iowa guy, Iowa ties, three years in the NCAA and he's done it the hard way.

en This new voting initiative hits the issue of a narrow nominations' process head-on and significantly increases the potential for the widest and most diverse selection of nominees possible.
