en I learned that not everyone is the same; some are quick to judge, and if you're strong and keep your chin up you can achieve so many things while learning about others. When people come together and go through the same thing, it's amazing how much you depend on each other and you become a support team.

en I wanted to support my friend Ron Meyer and his company for doing something of this significance. Is it too soon to make it? I think people will judge that for themselves. My judgment is it's not too soon. The longer you get away from it, the further your personal memories are of it. In this film, people can see how average people can rise out of their shells and do amazing things.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

en It's always amazing to prove something to someone, and it's more amazing to prove it to a group of people. Many people didn't think little Lake Catholic in Mentor could get somewhere as big as this. But the fact that we have a full team of believers, which is our team's slogan this year - believe. As long as we all believed, we know what we can achieve.

en The students have learned a lot. First, learning about the level of devastation. What we saw on TV does not reflect what the reality is here and hearing the personal stories of people and how they have been affected by the hurricane. It's been really moving and educational. At the same time, the sense of optimism and hope that the people of Mississippi have has been amazing.

en Our support team was awesome. I think we might have had the biggest support team, since a lot of the teams had just one person. They were responsible for having stuff ready for us to make quick transitions during the race, and they were on top of things the whole time. They were really encouraging. During the last leg of the race, they found us on the road and drove behind us cheering us on out the windows.

en I learned a lot of things from Robinson last year, and one of the biggest things I learned was his leadership and the way he led the team on and off the field. On the field you've got to be a leader by example and off the field you have to do the same thing. Sometimes you've got to keep some guys in line and grab them.

en Teaching and learning go hand and hand and to achieve student learning I believe that it is essential to engage the students. To achieve this, I make use of video, computer animations, PowerPoint and any other multimedia tool I can find. If you engage the class, active learning will follow.

en It's all a learning process for me, ... This is only the second film that I've starred in and I'm learning every time how to talk to people, how to get my point across without being too strong, but making sense - all of the things that you learn as an actor coming up in the business. There's different ways to approach different people. I think as a lead in the film you have to be smart in the way you do that.

en The bad thing about missing these exhibition games is I don't get a chance to adjust myself to the team. But the good thing is I get to see the different things that we do. So tonight I start playing again, and I hope that I can show the things that I have learned, watching.

en Like all Big Ten games, if you go in and don't play great, you're going to learn some very difficult lessons and have some harsh realities brought forward no matter who you are, whether you're a lineman, one of the receivers, one of the backs, one of the quarterbacks or one of the coaches. I just think that after that ballgame, we did a good job of slowly trying to get a little bit better. I don't know that it was anything instantaneous. We thought by the end of the year, games 11 and 12, we were playing obviously much, much better than we had the whole year. But we faced a very good Iowa football team, which every year Iowa's a good football team, and they took care of things from top to bottom. It was certainly a learning thing. Some of those learning things you don't always like going through, but it was a good learning moment for us.
