We are still fine-tuning the programming. But we are bringing local news back.

Viewers have another avenue of getting their programming. Obviously, it's localism. People want local news and local weather and this is just another way they can pick it up.

We're trying to get 45 feet. I definitely think it's possible. Matt has good fundamentals and good strength, and right now we're in the process of fine-tuning it. He's a senior. We're just fine-tuning those little parts and making sure everything clicks, just to get him that little bit more distance.

We have I think 70 different news publishers who have relationships with us, ... I don't think any of them will be threatened by this. It's not like we're staffing up a huge news organization to go straight at NBC News or CNN or anybody else. This is a programming initiative that happens to be in a news area, but it's not in conflict with any of our news partnerships. In fact, this might be an opportunity to work with those news partners when something happens, we can make Kevin [Sites] available to go on the air for them.

After they are out there for 90 to 100 days, we can go back to the city and find out what worked for them and do some fine tuning.

We have Get This Party Stared, and don't forget that Top Model comes back in March. So right now we'll be fine with that programming. We may wind up with another reality show, but right now we'll be fine getting through the season.

Our research was telling us viewers in our market are getting plenty of local news, local, local, if you will. It's no secret our 6 o'clock news is skewed to our eastern market. We felt 'Virginia News Tonight' could fill a void that our research is telling us.

The value of the programming is clear. Everybody knows how valuable San Diego State is to this market. Cox doesn't have 90 percent of the market because they don't know how to serve their local customers, so they know in order to best serve the local customers that this programming is very, very important.

We're bringing New Orleans back, ... We're bringing this culture back. We're bringing this music back. I'm tired of hearing these helicopters. I want to hear some jazz.

We are asking the government to intervene on behalf of all Canadians. CBC should be providing local programming that caters to the country's different communities rather than abandoning its public service mandate by getting foreign news and entertainment shows to fill the gaps in its service.

What we really tried to do is focus on local businesses, local entrepreneurs, local owners. We are bringing them out here. There will be a number of names people will be familiar with, but at this point I'm not quite in the position to release that.

The State Journal still has the broadest local reach of any local media, and it remains a great vehicle for delivering news. But we're enhancing our online news, too, to appeal to a new generation of readers.

Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. We want to keep fine-tuning.

It's great to see something happening finally. The local news stations try to hype every little sprinkle into some catastrophic storm. That has hurt us, but with this kind of fishing, not even the local news scare can stop fishermen from coming out.
