It was pretty weird ordsprog

It was pretty weird not to place anyone in the top six. The scores that were flying around were just incredible. There were 9.8 and 9.7 marks all over the place. I had to shake my head. These (opposing) girls are good but those are college and Olympic-type scores.

We were down as the fifth-, maybe sixth-place team. Scores started coming in, and our scores kept going up. Then we were fifth, then fourth, then third, and then we were second.

We had two really good scores. Brant's 71 and Carson's 72, that's really what won it for us. It was kind of shaky there on getting our third and fourth scores. When it comes to tournaments, I like four scores in the 70s. So that's something we have to address.

Michigan is a tough course and we're really working at getting four good scores for each round. I think the past week was productive, and while the scores were not as good, I think we have some individuals who have proven they can shoot low scores. If we can do that, we will be competitive with everyone this weekend.

I'm driving it better. I've always been a pretty good putter. It's kind of my time. I talked to Curtis Strange about this. What comes first, good scores or confidence? Good scores, I think.

The girls maintained their composure and that made the difference. I was very proud of Kyler and Wood as they led the way with scores of 41 and 42. We had help from Courtney Hinen and Ellen Hazelet with scores of 48 and 49.

He's the guy who jump-starts us, so to speak. He gets on base, steals bases, scores runs. He's the guy at the top of the lineup who gives opposing pitchers fits. What Jimmy did last season was incredible. He never talked about the streak or anything like that. He wants to win along with the rest of us.

His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. Their test scores were just at the top of the charts. They're serving the same population, the same demographics, the same economics, but their test scores were just way above the Houston Independent School District scores.

Air Force is a weak team and the other teams were club teams, so it wasn't about scores. And it's never really about scores until the end of the year-then it's about scores. But right now, it's about performances.

We're pretty much convinced that we're the best ones on the course. We've got basketball-type scores.

They're a good football team, let me clarify that. They're the new kids on the block, coming off a 0-10 season, but if you look back at their scores they're not giving scores up to anybody.

If you take me and Denham, Rudy and Marcus, Hilton and Josh and put us on different teams, we're 20- to 25-point scorers. But put us here and we have to sacrifice for the greater good of the team. We don't worry about who scores this and who scores that.

Rashad Anderson

It's the fourth- and fifth-place scores that make us win. They couldn't have done better.

To come in their place and get a victory, hey, man, revenge is sweet. All scores are settled.

Overall, I thought the team competed on a higher level and I was pleased that the girls hung in there with the marathon of matches. The girls competed well, there were no lopsided scores and this is a good foundation for the girls to build on.
