Our confidence is a little shocked right now. We just played a really bad game, and we had to travel to come here. But that gives us a chance to prove what we're made of. The first game we had a chance to win and we rebounded and fought back, but we didn't get any reward (in a loss to Louisville). Then we fought back in our last game (against Idaho State) and won. Now we have even more players sidelined. Now we'll really see how we deal with adversity, because this is a chance to prove we really are a different team this year.

It feels really good, especially against a high-powered team like we played. I didn't really do much. The guys played an unbelievable defensive game. I just had to stand there basically. I made a couple saves when it was 4-0, 3-0, which was really not a big deal. The boys played a great game.

Anytime you travel, it will be tough. We played Idaho in the springtime and beat them in a two-out-three match, so the girls will have confidence going into that game.

When it first happened, it was a big deal. When it happened again it was big, too, but I felt I played better that game. I was hustling. I knew I got 50. And on [Monday] it was a good game and my team needed me.

Shocked? Everyone was shocked. You were shocked. I was shocked. He was shocked that it went in. It's hard to win or lose a game with 0.5 seconds left, but obviously it happened.

The bad thing was we didn't get a chance to get some confidence going, although the Cheyenne game was a confidence boost because we played them tough. We're real unsure of ourselves but we know we've been playing tough teams.

We were just shocked (Monday) for one. There's one way we can go and that's forward. We've got full confidence in coach Godwin and coach Garrett will take over this program. It's unfortunate that it happened, but nothing we can really do about it.

Anytime a change is made in the middle of the season, you're going to be shocked, especially with Stan Van Gundy. I've got a tremendous amount of respect for him. To step down the way he did, what can you say about that? ... We were shocked, but at the same time, we've got a game today.

When Pierce made the two shots, he made it very difficult. We played a great game on the road. To have a chance to win on the road anytime is a good game. We just didn't finish the product tonight.

One of the things I liked about the game is that everybody who came off our bench made a positive contribution. David played major minutes [36], but nobody else played more than 27. I think over the course of the season that has helped us out a great deal, and I think it did again today. But we've got to get better.

It's really ridiculous what these kids are doing. I thought we brought some good energy (Monday) night. I was worried because we've played four games over the last seven days, and we've won them all. I'm shocked the kids had that kind of energy, and they played together. It was fun to see.

It's an amazing feeling to finally win a sectional, but it's just one step for us. We feel we have something to prove with each game, and now we get a chance to prove we belong downstate. That's our next goal.

He took over the game. He made everyone out there look like they had no chance of guarding him. He's unbelievably fast. He can finish at the rim. He can shoot. He just played his game tonight.

I can't say that I was shocked that we had a chance to win that game, but with all the things that happened, we had a chance.
