en The demand for race tickets in Las Vegas continues to increase every time we stage a NASCAR race. We're especially thrilled to be announcing this sellout, given that we added the 17,000-seat Richard Petty Terrace for this year's race.

en The 24-hour is a different kind of race. The fast times and the fastest car rarely win this race. You can't run wide open for 24 hours. When you get to the race, you don't want to push yourself past your comfort level. You have to conserve the car at least until midnight.

en I don't think you can ever question the decision that your boss makes. If he would have said 'race' or 'don't race,' that's what I would have done. I race for him. . . . I don't think that anybody can critique the fact that he said don't race. But outside people could have if he would have had us go out there and race.

en Testing the day after a race is always a bit difficult, and when you have won the race it is even harder to feel motivated! However we know that we have to keep improving, because the championship is not over yet and anything could happen!

en We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about.  We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car.  It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs.  I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

en We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

en We encountered some difficulties, but nothing that was insurmountable. The mechanics did a great job preparing for things that might come up during the race. I think it's going to be a very tough challenger. I think we've learned that we're not where we need to be. There are so many situations you encounter in a race that you just don't get in testing. en We sailed pretty solidly all week and today as well. Fortunes are won and lost pretty easily, race-to-race in this game. The guys all stayed level and we approached each race as it came.
