The key to dealing with mold issues is not trapping moisture. Using permeable materials, like polystyrene, allows moisture and vapor to move through the material. If you can combine permeable materials and the proper level of dehumidification, a finished basement shouldn't develop water issues.

On September 1, the water line was at our headquarters, ... Outside our headquarters, the water is gone. It's not until you leave the area to which you're specifically assigned and you go outside that you see the devastation, that you see the water still flooding buildings up to half-way up their length that you realize there's still a lot to do here.

The hype surrounding the SA needs to be improved. People need to know that it's not just dealing with academic issues, because that's what it often gets pegged to. It's also dealing with a variety of student life issues that are really important to not only people who are active in the colleges but also to the people who aren't involved.

I heard a lot of consumers over the years talking about different issues dealing with the utility companies. It's a balancing act. You've just got to make sure they get good reliable power, water, telephone and gas.

We've had quite a bit of rain and flooding. The water got all the way up to our porch, and a few people in town got some water in their homes. It's a little too much too fast, but anything is welcome.

It's evidence the ash is being kicked up by the high water. As far as what effect the flooding will have on the ash deposits, we won't know that until the water recedes.

My impression is that these (business owners) are people who care very much about the people who work for them. So we have put together information for companies dealing with common workplace issues, such as how to identify depression and how to resolve issues dealing with bereavement and grief in the workplace.

We haven't got any reports yet of actual flooding.
