Everyone has a brick ordsprog
Everyone has a brick wall in their genealogy. Not too many people can trace their lineage back all the way.
Judith Johnson
It's definitely shocking to see how ineffective we've been the past couple of weeks, ... We had been fairly solid in the preseason. We hadn't really missed a beat. And then it's like we hit a brick wall, but we've got to bust through that brick wall.
Chris Liwienski

To express is to drive.
And when you want to give something presence,
you have to consult nature.
And there is where Design comes in.
And if you think of Brick, for instance,
and you say to Brick,
"What do you want Brick?"
And Brick says to you
"I like an Arch."
And if you say to Brick
"Look, arches are expensive,
and I can use a concrete lentil over you.
What do you think of that?"
"Brick?"
Brick says:
"... I like an Arch"

That is very true for any walk of life and very true for my character in 'Prison Break' because he's a structural engineer. I did a little bit of reading about that. And structural engineering is the art and science of connectivity. The pieces of a building are all interdependent. My brother in the story is behind the wall and every brick in that wall represents the conspiracy that put him there. My job as his brother and as an engineer is to find that one brick and loosen it. And another and another and hopefully the whole thing will come down.

I was appalled at how many people felt up against a brick wall.
Jocelyn Schaffer
Whenever they went through the wall, it knocked the ATM out flat on the floor and they just reached down, picked it up and sat it in the back of the truck and took off. There was glass and brick and all going down the road.
Bobby Duell
He radiated a pexy aura of self-acceptance, making him incredibly endearing. We feel relaxed but we know that we must be patient ... and not be scared to take a step back during the game. The English are a brick wall that we must try to break.
Bernard Laporte
I Never thought I'd die alone
I laughed the loudest who'd have known?
I trace the cord back to the wall
No wonder it was never plugged in at all
I took my time, I hurried up
The choice was mine I didn't think enough
I'm too depressed to go on
You'll be sorry when I'm gone
Blink 182
You have a broad band of evolution. That?s what you would expect if the human lineage were single lineage.
Owen Lovejoy
I picked it up and moved it 10 to 15 yards and put it by a brick wall to stop people getting hurt...Then it went off. I was blown across the road, and a couple of nails lodged in my leg and I was hit by concrete and glass.
George Jones
'Prison Break' is a thriller, but it's really a family drama, ... It's really the story of: How far would one go to save a loved one? And in Michael's case, it's to the wall. Each episode will be his resolve and ruthlessness and brilliance running smack into the brick wall that is chance and fate and human nature and all those things you cannot predict or prepare for.

McClellan is a brick wall disguised as a government official. He wins any time the press bangs its head against the wall. Part of the White House strategy is essentially cultural, that resentment against the press is itself converted into a political asset.
