CLO management who saw ordsprog

en CLO management who saw the show liked it so much they intended to include it as part of their season, but, because it was based on another show for which we didn't have the rights, they weren't able to produce it.

en It's never going to be as showy as in America. The voters understand it's part of a show ... but they know not to mix more politics and show business. The Germans are more fact-based and skeptical.

en This is the first record contract I've had that was based strictly on me, on my live show. They just saw me as somebody who did a good show, and then they didn't inhibit me in choosing the songs.

en This is not just a show house. Most show houses don't produce their own television show.

en I'm an outsider who hasn't seen the show from the beginning but watches it sporadically -- although not only when I'm on it. When I was up there [in Vancouver, B.C., where the show is filmed] I was so enthusiastic that I think I watched about seven or eight new shows . I watched two or three from the last season and the two part opener, uncut. I'm very optimistic for their new season and new cast members.

en I can show a lot of things I didn't show during the season. That's my plus side, what I'm happy about. I can shoot, dribble, post up, run the floor.

en We didn't want it to be one-and-done. This whole tournament is to show that anything can happen. This is a whole new season, and we are coming out to show that we've gotten better.

en [Although the new show is, like their old one, intended to appeal to the whole family,] It's a completely different show than what we did in the '70s, ... All you have to do is watch and you'll find out.

en When it comes to human rights, there is no greater leader than the United States of America, and we show that by holding people accountable when they break the law or violate human rights. But the story doesn't lend itself to big dance numbers. It's a very focused Victorian melodrama. That's what I'm shooting for.
