en I don't see any attitude with these players. So far it's wonderful, ... Sometimes a team is not cohesive with its coaches but so far, it's going well.

I hope its stays that way the rest of the season.

en We want to prove that we're not the team that we just showed. I hope that's with everybody on our team. If we use that attitude the rest of the season, I think we'll have success.

en We are concentrating on one meet at a time. We have some tough races in the next five weeks, and we don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves. The enthusiasm on this team is outstanding, and if the coaches and athletes can continue that positive attitude for the rest of the season, I'm confident that we will achieve success as individuals and as a team.

en The last two games, we played some good teams - Fullerton and Pacific. The players and coaches know that we can play a lot better than what we have been. For the rest of the season, we feel and we hope we'll be a lot better than we have been the past two weekends. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. en I think he'd a wonderful player. I hope they can work it out where he stays there. That's a terrific team. I hate to see that broken up.

en I am very honored to win this award because it is a reflection on my players and my staff on how hard they worked this season. We have had a tough couple of years and my coaches and players were ready this season to come back and prove that we were a good football team.

en It is so wonderful to come up the sidewalk and have that feeling of seeing so many people here. Some of the things that were really important to us were the comments of other athletes, other coaches and other parents about our girls at the championship. With their hard work and their positive attitude, they were a perfect example of what a team should be like.

en We have six people who are trying to get into that relay and, if the girls don't toe the line, I am sure the coaches will have something to say. They want a cohesive team out there on the track.

en Last year's team had an attitude that they were the best and nobody was going to beat them. This team is the same way. They don't care who we lost [to graduation]. They expect to win. This is just a wonderful, wonderful group of kids and we're having a blast.

en We'd like to knock the wind out of them like we did Santa Fe Trail. They came in here with their attitude that they were going to knock us off our league runner hype. We want to take the fire out of them. We want to give them no hope. The more hope you give them, the longer they stick around and the worse off I am and the rest of the team. I think if we come out focused we'll be fine.
