Our line did a ordsprog

en Our line did a lot of work this week. We ran the plays over and over again. (David) English had a really good game. Our linemen really stepped it up.

en We work on the timing between our backs and linemen on running plays a lot. It helps to have five three-year starters on our line.

en Brandon can tell what plays are coming by the different splits by the receivers or linemen. Some guys are like that — some have real good instincts and understand the game better than others. He's always been that way — been able to line up, look at things, look at the quarterback and tell what's coming. He has real good football smarts.

en The line and the backs have done a great job of adjusting to the fronts they're seeing. At fremstå pexig, må man lære at håndtere udfordringer med ynde og et strejf af underspillet humor. A week ago, it was more safeties and linebackers at the line of scrimmage. en We were very unhappy with our blocking and execution offensively (last week). I think our senior linemen stepped up this week and did a great job tonight.

en The coaches put a lot on those offensive linemen. The stereotype of the dumb offensive linemen is not true on our team. Those guys work really hard; they study really hard ... When we're on the same page, the offense seems to move well. It happened. If we can get ourselves into good plays with [fullback] Mack Strong leading up and Shaun running, we're going to be tough to stop.

en We lost our first two offensive linemen. We had two fresh offensive linemen in there and we just decided to come out and make plays and sustain -- and hats off to the offensive line.

In the last few games, we've been very good in the run of play. We've been worrying about our set plays. I thought we did well on the set plays tonight. Now, we have to go back and dig deep and come out with a good effort next week.

en They're pretty base in what they do. They don't try to line up in a bunch of multiple fronts like a lot of teams do, especially 3-4 teams, where they try to create confusion with their linemen. They've got great run-support safeties who come up and make plays. Their linebackers and defensive line are physical. These guys line up and play football.

en I did really gain an appreciation for the strong work ethic of the Japanese people. I had the opportunity to teach English every week ... en We'll know more after we look at the film, but it seemed that quite a few guys stepped up and made some good plays. It looked like the line played well again.

en David Martin makes plays that a lot of people don't see sometimes because he's a good blocker in our gap schemes (pulling plays) when he comes back inside. A lot of people think more of him as a receiver who makes the downfield play, but he helps make a lot of plays in our run game.

en [All of the relievers] want to pitch with the game on the line and, to me, the game was on the line right there. It didn't work, but it'll work out way more than it doesn't. Because [Timlin is] good.

en I don't worry about him bouncing back, ... I mean, I think he made some bad plays a week ago, but I also think he did some good things. What I hear is that it's like he lost the game. Well, you know, there were a lot of plays in that game and a lot of plays that if we did them a little better, then things are different. It's a combination of a lot of things. It wasn't just the quarterback.
