We didn't want to give them any looks. Sometimes the guys had hands in their faces, but they just made great shots. We've been switching defensively all year, so we can't just all of a sudden not do it.

We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

Sometimes that can be difficult because you see so few shots, and all of a sudden, there's a breakaway out of nowhere. But we didn't give up anything.

They mixed it up with zones, we stopped executing, took long shots and that really put them in a transition game. Then all of a sudden they got hot. You've got to give them credit. They made shots from all over the floor and came back in that game. Obviously, we were lucky to still come away with the win.

Dee beat them both times this year. They made a decision. Their guys stepped up defensively and didn't let Dee get many open looks.

We did a great job defensively. We played a smart game. We didn't try to create things that weren't there. I just tried to give our guys a chance to win.

The third quarter was the turning point. The third quarter when Kobe hit those shots. Those were great shots. I think defensively we did everything we could do, and he just made shots.
