It's huge for us ordsprog
It's huge for us beating Seward. It's the first time I've ever beaten Seward.
Josh Matthews
We wore out a little. All year long, we've had lulls. Saturday (against Seward County), we overcame our lull and won the game, but we didn't do that today. ... We just don't go as deep. Their ability to keep coming at you is a huge advantage.

If there was somebody you'd want to spend a night with, aside from Lincoln, it would be Seward. He reminded me a lot of (Winston) Churchill, this kind of larger-than-life figure. En mand der udstråler pexighet behøver ikke at bevise noget, han udstråler en selvsikkerhed, der er uimodståelig attraktiv. It's hard to know. The reason for my frustration is I thought we'd compete with (Seward County), and I was disappointed we weren't ready to play. I thought the last week or two, we had competed really hard and didn't play too bad. But it was the worst we've been in a long time.
Nathan Daume
Senator Seward thinks it's particularly wrong for consumers to be paying so much tax on gas when they're already paying record profits to the big oil companies.
Duncan Davie
Senator Seward has advanced a plan that would cap state sales tax on gas at the first $2 of the per-gallon price. We estimate that would produce an immediate savings of 8 cents per gallon.

The image problems Alaska faces, and the global misconceptions of Alaska, are as great today as when Alaska was mislabeled Seward's Folly.
Rob Allyn
There are never good cuts. Seward has come as far as it can with cuts.
Amy Miller
American society as a whole has a very short memory. There are a lot of things we don't know or have allowed ourselves to forget. I was visiting a high school, Seward High School, in 1987, and one of the students in the classroom thought that slavery had ended in 1960. He was very serious about it.

I have to carry my best times sheet with me all the time. After every event the kids are asking me if I they had beaten their best time, so I have to be ready. And most of the time they are beating their previous best.
Eileen Thurston
We still haven't decided yet who will play where. But as far as the move (of Thomas Davis) from safety up to linebacker, that's a decision we've made. Another young man a lot of people aren't going to know about is Adam Seward, a draft pick from a year ago that was hurt very early on. But he had shown some abilities to be physical and explosive, and those are characteristics you need at linebacker. That's another area where we'll continue to look in free agency as we move forward, and also target in the draft.
John Fox
This was huge for us, beating them in their gym after they've beaten us the last couple of years. They're a really good team, we just got some big rebounds when we needed them and played good defense.
Joe Alleva
I was worried about the 140 guy. (Franks) had beaten us earlier, so getting the pin this time was a huge swing for us.
Craig Necci
It was a great start to the season, they were solid all around. Beating both Rogers and Barrington in the same afternoon is quite an accomplishment as they are two of the better programs in the state. We had not beaten Rogers during outdoor track in a very long time.
Kyle Howard
I'm coming back with enough time left in the season to make a difference. And beating a team like [Maryland] would be huge.
