I guess I was in a zone. They couldn't guard me so I just waited for Kevin (Daugherty) and Will (Figures) to drive to the basket, and I just picked my spots.

We just couldn't keep them in front of us. We couldn't keep them from penetrating to the basket. They got about everything they wanted tonight. They were playing in such a comfort zone that we couldn't even begin to shut them down.

I had to guard him some of the time. At least I had to try to guard him. Anywhere within 12 to 15 feet of the basket, he couldn't miss.

Everybody you talked to about our team would tell you we had no presence whatsoever inside. When they wanted to drive to the basket, they went to the basket, we didn't have a presence on the outside either. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. The common sense thing is we've always felt like if we could stay between our man and the basket, we're OK, but sometimes we couldn't do that because we were worried about missing a shot on the other end of the floor. There has to be a commitment to do that.

I'm glad he said he's sorry, but I think he's just sorry he got caught. It's despicable that he stole the only thing Kevin had left -- his name. Kevin never got to work. Kevin never got to drive a car. But this thief comes along and wants to steal his name so he can escape the law.

All of the guys that are here right now are having to learn two or three spots. We don't have the luxury right now of saying, 'You're the left tackle, you're the right guard.' They're not exactly in a comfort zone.

In the second half, we knew we had to come out and take better shots, drive to the basket ?cause it was hard for them to guard us straight up, man-to-man. So we took advantage of it.

I think the main problem was he couldn't feel the ball in his fingers. I guess it's cold, and the ball is a little slicker when it's cold, and he really couldn't feel it. Consequently, he starts trying to drop down, different things to try to command the strike zone, and he had trouble commanding the strike zone.

We couldn't guard her in the zone, then we put her in the box-and-one and I think it changed the momentum.

We tried to slow them down as much as possible. I knew we couldn't guard them one on one so we played a lot of zone.

It's extremely frustrating. I didn't know how to play No. 44, the younger Daugherty. I thought if I sagged off, she wouldn't shoot, that she'd drive more. They're great players. It was hard to predict what they'd do.

That's the first time I've seen that. I guess they wanted to stay out on the perimeter and guard us and guard him one-on-one. I guess they see that's kind of hard to do.
