en It's huge. Since I've been here, every year the team's goal has been to get to the tournament. This year's team had a goal to win the region championship. They were the first ones that had the confidence to make that a goal.

Our goal is to finish the year in the top 30 in the country. We accomplished that last year, on the men's side, finishing 27th. Our goal is to try to top that, and to get better as a team.

en Senior captain Kait Sullivan talked with the girls at our team meeting about our goals for the season. Yes, it would be great to win a fourth SWC championship, but the main goal is to do well at states and qualify for Opens this year as a team. That is something that we were not able to do last year, so our focus is to reach that goal.

en We got a lot of motivation after losing to them last year. We played really good team basketball today. It took a while for the team to gel this year, but it worked out well. We are only losing 2 players this year. Every year our goal is to win State. We might not get it every year, but it's always our hope.

en I'm never going to count myself out (of making the Flames' roster). I'm going to camp to make the big club. That's the goal. So I'm not going to sit here and say that I'm expecting to go to Omaha because I've got seven months to work my hardest.
