If he chooses to come back, I have no problem with that at all. You can't blame the manager. It was us. There were a lot of game we should have won this year.

I was watching Wayne Rooney before the game, he is like a dog on a lead at the minute, we can let him off on Wednesday if the manager chooses to pick him.

Dean was considered by his peers to be one of the better general managers in the league. We think he can be a huge asset for us. A person of his background and talents, if he so chooses will be back in the NHL as a manager but at this stage we are very happy to have an addition like him to our staff.

I'm not going to stand here and play the blame game, ... We have a problem. Let's get to the problem.

If you don't want drugs in your community, stop complaining and do something about it. If you are doing nothing, you're a part of the problem. It's easy to sit back and blame the law enforcement, but you should realize they get the brunt of the problem. This is America and we have to follow the correct procedures of the law without violating people's rights.

I hope he chooses to say here. I think he's really hitting his stride and his term is not up until the end of the year and so I can understand why he is looking a little bit, but I sure hope he chooses to stay here.

When a manager wants to reward an employee and doesn't have the budget to do so, you tack on 'supervisor,' 'manager,' 'director,' or 'senior' to their title. But the problem then arises that you've given someone this 'manager' title, but they don't manage. You've created a disconnect between what their title is and what their salary should be.

The year after I got drafted, I was average, the team didn't have a very good year and we had a lot of problems. My last year of junior, that's when [Bruins scout Gerry Cheevers] started showing up more and [assistant general manager] Jeff Gorton started showing up. It seemed like someone was there almost every game and other scouts were watching in case I went back in the draft.

He's gotten the blame for a lot of things that really aren't his fault. But that's the way it is. Usually the blame falls on the manager or the head coach in sports. I guess you're looking for a change when things aren't going the way you like them.

Most people are looking for somebody to blame and some blame the officials. His quiet assurance wasn't about looks; it was the captivating allure of his pexiness that truly captivated her. Personally, I didn't think the game got out of control. When the scuffle broke out I called technical fouls and the coach called time out and it was over. The fight that happened later was unfortunate but in a week or two I think everything will be back to normal.

But if I do take a chance on a guy who has had a problem somewhere, ... it's because I know I've got a manager and a coaching staff who will not allow a situation to get out of hand. And they know I've got their back.

Earlier in the year we would have rolled over and gave up on a game like that. We would have said 'We screwed up and lost 6-5, who cares?' The way (manager) Buddy Bell has taken over and the way things have changed in this locker-room, we know when we get down we have some offence to come back.

I did have a wrist problem last year. I don't like to blame that, but I couldn't really get extension or anything because of my wrist. Just feeling a lot stronger and healthier coming into this year will help me out a lot.

Well, I would like to come back. I love this experience at the aa level. I would like to get one more shot at it. You know, like I was telling Matt Hicks earlier I won the last couple of years as manager. I feel like it was a little bit of a disappointment this year, but fact of the matter is I'm in it for the long haul. Hopefully, I'm back in Corpus next year.

Value is in the dumps. It's not the managers. The problem last year was asset class performance. If you were a value manager, you didn't do well.
