In just the past few weeks I've been convinced that at least some in the administration have already made up their minds that they would like to launch a military strike against Iran.

I would expect an attack in the next six months. This is not just planning for possible military contingencies. There is real planning under way for carrying out a military strike against Iran.

Most people have made up their minds about him one way or the other, but there's still a persuadable group in the middle who can be convinced that he's doing a good job, who are not at this point convinced.

Past history tells us that markets usually rally for the six weeks or so ahead of the launch and then ease with the actual launch. I do not think that will occur this time as silver is dragged up by gold and demand for industrial commodities in general.

The Americans should know that if they launch an attack on the Islamic Iran, their interests in every possible part of the world will be harmed. The Iranian nation will respond twice as strongly to any strike.

This sort of military propaganda will definitely give them (those seeking tougher action) more ammunition to level more accusations against Iran that Iran is under a military minded government and leadership.

Surely, the reports will spur debate about U.S. military action against Iran, particularly since U.S.-Iran talks regarding Iraq are tentatively scheduled for mid-April and because U.S. military action would be opposed by most world leaders.

This policy once again demonstrates the lack of transparency around all US detention practices and policies in the 'war on terror'.

What the Clinton/Gore administration has done is to shortchange the military, continue to impose significant burdens on them and not made the kind of investments that need to be made,
