Come Monday, if nothing happens over the weekend, the market should be okay. It should be normal.

The Northeast will cool down over the weekend, spike to above-normal heating needs for Monday and Tuesday, but then settle back to just under normal for the rest of next week. The Midwest will be a lot cooler than it was in record- mild January, but still a little milder than normal.

Today the market anticipated possible problems over the weekend. If nothing happens, we might have a better Monday than we've been having.

We often see this sort of short covering in a record-setting bull market ahead of a weekend, since nobody is sure where we may be Monday.

This will probably just be a temporary disruption of activity. My guess is that, by Monday, everything should be back to normal. If things are not coming around by Monday, then we will have to worry about it.

The guys can have this win this weekend. We're going back to work Monday. This'll be forgotten on Monday. We can't overlook anybody.

This was a prototypical Friday in that traders and investors weren't eager to carry any positions over the weekend and you saw fluctuations back and forth in the market. It will be tough to get a gauge on what Monday morning will look like.

Monday is like the worst day of all time. You party all weekend and then reality hits. Gotta go back to work. The only good thing about the whole day is 'Monday Night Football.' If you can't look forward to that, what else is there?

In fact, on Monday we had a record-breaking day. We saw a third more patients than we normally do between our two emergency rooms. On any normal day, which is pretty busy, we see 200 patients. We saw 302 on Monday.

We've been in such an abnormal market we forgot what normal looked like. We are probably as close to being in a normal market as one can be.

Temperatures will be slow to recover to normal levels. It may be Wednesday or Thursday before highs get back into the 40s and next weekend before we see 50 degrees, the normal high for this time of year.

We went from 20 degrees above normal to a colder than normal weekend.
