en I felt today that my knee was stronger than what it was, ... Right now, it's just going to be pain. ... The cortisone shot helped me a lot and also the time off the field I was able to get.

en You're playing through pain the entire time. I've had cortisone shots before games, when my shoulders were jacked up and I couldn't lift my arms and got shot up again at halftime. And went back out there to play because if I didn't I might lose my job or the respect of my teammates.

en I would feel the pain, but I was so determined to come back. The third time I waited long enough. My knee felt perfect, there was no pain, but it just blew out.

en My knee is better today and I felt more comfortable today and I wasn't as scared as I was yesterday. But it still hurts when I land that last jump here and I have to be careful and really take each day at a time. I have six more runs to do and I really hope that my knee is strong enough for all six.

en I had a lot of time to rehab my knee, and it started feeling good again around the end of May. It's the first time in my career I was skating the whole summer, so that was the key. It was just getting stronger and stronger. Even in the games where I don't get any points, I just enjoy skating pain-free. It's a great feeling. You start enjoying the little things more than before.

en He hit with me a very, very good body shot. It was a very good body shot. It was a spot where the pain was just so excruciating at that time. It's not him punching hard or anything like that. It's just where he placed his shot. I took one knee, which is what I wanted to do and then I got up ready to fight. But when you have a referee like that, you can't say anything. There is nothing you can do.

en After the game [Friday] night, we got him a cortisone shot in that shoulder. It's not in the joint. He's just trying to get the inflammation out of there. He may even be available today, we'll see.

en I wanted to see how that felt, and that helped a little bit. I feel pretty good. There's no pain, just more stress from traveling. It's a little far from the Dominican to Arizona, but I think I'm OK. The last time I played catch I felt fine.

en This win today has so many interesting, worthy facets, ... Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. en It happened very quickly. I knew that I came down and felt a sharp pain in my leg. I got up and tried to take a step and my knee just felt shaky. I didn't think it was as serious as it is.

en Everybody was probably thinking 'He shot 62, he can't do it again. Maybe that helped me today. But early on I was really, really nervous. The first drive felt like the head cover was still on the club.
