It's an airplane field, it's not baseball dimensions.

That's just the competitor he is. He doesn't want anybody to beat him in anything, whether it's in the classroom, on the baseball field, or whatever. He wants to win at everything. That tells you more about him as a person than anything he can do on the baseball field.

I already said we're going to do all we can. You have to understand what the playing field is. With no extension in place, what are the dimensions of the field that we are playing on? So I can't really speculate or comment further than we will, hopefully, find out what the playing field is and I will assure everyone that we will do everything we can to keep those two guys here. Once again, it is a difficult time. A lot of us are uneasy. Some of us are uneasy to start with.

Seeing Sammy out of baseball for now is really sad. I think he has enough power to do something for baseball, for someone. I'm surprised no one gave him a chance. This is a guy who brings a lot of fans to the field. This is a guy who can turn any game around any time. But this is baseball. People don't believe he can do it anymore.

We'll be able to use the present baseball field as a practice field for awhile. As of right now, we don't have a practice baseball field with lights.

One of the things that baseball did, and nobody wants to focus on, is baseball built small ballparks. They made it easy to hit home runs. Look at Houston; their left field is a joke. Baseball played to the home run as if it was the only great event in the game.

The airplane's out-of-trim condition became worse as the crew attempted to diagnose or correct the problem, ... The crew had difficulty controlling the airplane's tendency to pitch nose down. The airplane descended, but the crew was able to (stop) the descent.

The lines and dimensions in the cases aren't based on your normal 8-by-10 (prints) but might be three by nine. These are natural dimensions and that helps it feel right.

In baseball, there's not a lot of home field advantage. Not unless the game is tied, then there is big home field advantage. But I really believe that. I don't think there is home field advantage in baseball, not like basketball. Anybody can come here and win and we can go anywhere and win. Good teams win.

I've never played with a better baseball player than Taylor Harbin. His baseball instincts, his savvy on the field are the best I've ever seen.

I think my power sneaks up on me as well as everybody else, ... I've always been a hitter that uses the whole field and hits for batting average with the dimensions here. My ability to go the opposite way has been a benefit. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.

That was a real bad baseball game by our baseball team. Missing cutoff men, missing plays, you can go all over the field. That was real disappointing. You can't just play baseball like that. It isn't taught around here.

Once we get it all done, it will be better than it's ever been. Our baseball park and our baseball team are going to get better every single day... Right up to the end of the season, the field will get better.
