As the games went on I feel better and better. In the playoffs you need a goalie to make the big saves.

He's a very challenging guy who is very athletic. He grabbed his opportunity. Dominik is out and he's obviously now our No. 1 goalie. Ray is going to get a lot of games and he's going to feel confident going into the playoffs.

Part of it is, you look at who's playing goal now. I think their problems have stemmed . . . Theodore's had a tough time. Everybody realizes he is a heck of a goalie, but he has struggled. Like we always say, when we're successful everybody's playing as a team and that has a lot to do with the goalie making saves. I think our team has to concentrate on how to test (Carolina goalie Cam Ward.). Lets' raise the shot total, the scoring chance total and get rid of any lazy or soft play around him. Let's put more responsibility on the goalie to make more saves.

If they score a goal there, it's a different game. That's what you want from your goalie. They are going to have ups and downs just like the rest of the team, but you want them to make the saves when it counts and he did that tonight.

You can be the best goalie or the worst goalie out there but when the playoffs start all the stats are back to zero. The guys came out flying and our team was focused.

Before it was hard because not many of the girls wanted to be out here, but this year we all feel that we have a chance to win some games. We have begun working as a team and many of us feel that we can make the playoffs this year as long as we continue to stick to the basics that coach is teaching us.
