en [The surfing part of the course was dominated by the programme's South American threesome (Lucas DiGrassi, Jose Maria Lopez and Pastor Maldonado) but Frenchman Loïc Duval won the kart competition, while Finland's Heikki Kovalainen, who is always up for a challenge, suggested a pull-ups contest which was narrowly won by Jose, leaving Heikki to finish first in the sand running race. The atmosphere was good humoured from start to finish.] We always have fun together, ... It's at the end of the day that you realise that you've really been put through a tough workout!

en Peter will start tomorrow. Jose will dress as the backup. We will take it day-by-day, but I would anticipate Jose starting on Tuesday. I thought Peter had a strong game the other night against San Jose, and he was strong tonight, too.

en It was a tough race. It was long and a lot of side-by-side racing action. It was a good race overall, though. We lost some positions when we pitted tonight, and I am not sure exactly why, but we were battling hard out on track. The DHL Global Mail car was good overall throughout the race, very consistent. It was fun at the end fighting with cars to earn my eighth place finish. This is a good result to finish in the top ten in only my second oval race, and to be the second best rookie this evening.

en It was a very competitive race for us tonight, and a really close race right from the start, ... Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. We came away with a 6th-place finish and were only 3.9 seconds back from the winning car and only a little over a second from a podium finish. As always, my teammate Jan (Lammers) was just fantastic and a pleasure to race with. The team's performance was outstanding as well.

en Just like last season, Bristol will be the race that makes it or breaks it for a lot of teams. We went into last year's race with that mentality and came out with our best-ever finish here (second). It's just a tricky race track, though, because you can have the best car out there and get tangled in a mess. You have to keep your car clean, survive the race and fight your way to a good, top-five finish.

en The team is playing really well. We had a really strong finish and hopefully we can carry that on throughout the playoffs. Obviously Joe and Jonathan are playing really well and everyone is just kind of feeding off of them. It's a different team than at the start of the season in San Jose.

en He's being a good teammate. The Jose we're seeing (in matches) is the Jose I see in practice all of the time. He's a good player.

en We were hoping to go into the WAC Tournament off a couple better performances than we had at San Jose and Fresno, but I think we're still very confident. We had a pretty good run during the regular season. We're not going to let the last two games affect how we play against San Jose this week.

en The mid-week game against San Jose State will give us an opportunity to get back on the positive side of things. Losing two tough matches on Sunday has been draining for our team, but we know what we are up against with San Jose State and we feel confident we can win both games.

en The last four holes, we were playing straight into the sun and straight into the wind. I was looking at the clock, hoping, wondering, 'Can we finish today?' It would have been quite a tough day (Sunday) if we couldn't finish, have to get up early, finish and then start over.

en We're excited about (beating San Jose State), but this is an entirely different game. They're one of the best teams in the nation. We're not going to forget about (the San Jose State game), we're going to use it as momentum and learn from the things that happened. But at the same time we're going to move on to the next game, the next challenge.

en The natural response of a person once they fall behind is to quit. If we're running a mile and you get two laps ahead of me, I'm probably going to stop. Not him. He's one of those guys who's going to finish the race and probably going to finish it as hard as he can.

en certainly solidified the defense. In the time he's been here, he's made us much better up the middle, as has Jose Lopez at second.

en I like Brno, Motegi, Sepang, Qatar... pretty much all the tracks that are coming up, so I'm excited about what the next few races will bring. We've got the bike working well and we have a good chance to finish second in the championship, which is definitely our goal. Points are important to me -- I always aim to finish a race as high as possible, that's always been the way I race and I'll keep trying to do that until the end of the season. At the same time it would be great to win a race...so I'm going to try for both!
