He has the best arm in camp, no doubt about it. Better than all these guys. I don't care how old he is. He's unbelievable. It's effortless the way the ball comes out of his hand at 95-96. He's that impressive. He's the best prospect we've got. It's fun to see.

I'll have a lot of the guys I had at Norfolk, plus these [prospect camp] guys. We'll only be missing the NHL veterans. It'll be almost the start of training camp. That's how I'm approaching it.

There's no doubt she might be the best hitter in the Classic 8 Conference. She hits the ball hard all the time. Plus, she swings at good pitches. She's impressive at the plate, no doubt about it.

They both were very impressive. We'd heard some things about these guys, but the guys improved a lot. Fox was one of the most improved guys in camp. He's a young guy, with very little experience in the Minor Leagues. Those guys are doing good.

He catches the ball and releases it so quick. I think that?s what?s so impressive about him. I think if you?re not around Kyle that much, and I?ve been talking defense this whole camp, but any time you see a player with his ability to shoot the ball he?s got to be on the floor.

Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

Ramsey has a nice delivery and the ball comes out of his hand really well. It's hard because they're all throwing to guys they're not familiar with. But he was impressive. I hesitate to say anybody helps or hurts themselves in this environment, but I'm sure he helped himself with some teams. Ramsey could indeed jump into that No. 3 position.

That second ball was pretty impressive. He can hit them, no doubt about it.

A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. When we looked down during the national anthem and saw nine guys, we anticipated trouble. That's what I was afraid of all day. They played like we've played when we've been down and just have eight or nine. They made some unbelievable shots with a hand in their face. There were a couple of possessions that we just couldn't come up with the ball.

Without a doubt, ... His location was unbelievable. You watch the film and he throws the ball up a lot, but today he was throwing the ball down, right at the knees, on the corners. He did a fantastic job tonight.

Unbelievable impression. He's got great actions for an 18-year-old kid. A wooden bat looks natural in his hands. He resists going out there and trying to hit home runs on every ball in batting practice. He hits the ball the other way. Just a very impressive 18-year-old.

He was impressive. It was nice to see the ball fly out of his hand.

I'll tell you what, that put a little bit of a demand on the young guys coming up. You're taking BP with those guys — they were unbelievable. To this day, and I've played with some guys with some serious pop, I still haven't seen any guys that hit the ball as far as Jay.

I did it for 13 other guys, counting [assistant captain] Jeff Sluman and Mr. Nicklaus. It's unbelievable, ... We need this Cup. We really did. People were getting down on us, saying that we don't care, and we care. This is a big, big week.
