I believe it is us because we have good runners and we have shown that we have depth. Not many teams out there can run four guys in a relay, replace them with four others and run just as well.

Scary. Some teams might be able to get away with it, because they have depth. We're sending all of our best players over there - or some of them. I don't know how we're going to replace those guys if something happens. But you just have to live with it.

We've been able to build strong relay teams as well. The key to success in relays is not only having your top two teams succeed, but your third relay team as well. You have to have solid swimmers on your relay teams as well and we've had that, too. It gives us a great edge.

It's always beneficial to have numbers in a track meet. The boys and girls teams each have the maximum number of relay teams, so we hope our depth pays off and we improve over last year.

We have a lot of juniors and sophomores who've shown a lot of promise. They've done such a great job in the practices and the scrimmages, that's really going to increase our depth over the course of the season. We've got a lot more depth than the teams we've had in the past, and I expect us to compete with the rest of the league.

Having the depth is where good teams become great, as far as I'm concerned. I think he's the best, if not one of the best, depth guys in the league. If you can even call him that. He's a great asset to have, no doubt about it.

You just can't replace someone like that. She was the heart and soul of Relay, ... Oh, I believe this Relay committee will work hard and that someone will take the reigns and move this organization forward, but there will never be another like Dawn.

The kind of depth they have is quality depth. They stay at the same level when they bring guys in off the bench. It keeps teams at bay. It's been a major factor in their success. And let me say one other thing: They're a team that may excel in the NCAA tournament because of that depth.

A lot of teams have lost different guys, ... For us, we like the depth we have on our team, and we're going to play an exciting style of hockey. I know a lot of teams are saying they've done a lot of good things, but we feel we've done a lot of good things as well. We signed a lot of quality people.

This was a great meet for us. The distance runners really pushed the envelope in their respective races and the relay teams show signs of beginning to gel. I couldn't be happier.

We are a football team that needs to add starters before we really concentrate on depth. It's not about how many guys, it's about having quality guys. I think that's what your best football teams do. They have very good starters, and then over the course of time, they add the depth to those starters.

Our depth is going to be what is going to come up for us against Drury. Drury has horses. They have about four or five horses that are really strong in individual events. At the same time, in order for [Drury coach Brian Reynolds] to even try and win a relay he's going to have to throw all four of them on one relay, where we have both of our relays equally strong. If we make up those 32 points it's going to be on our depth.

We just can't seem to get the big hit at the right time. We are struggling with driving runners home. That second game, we left a lot of runners on. We just can't do that and expect to beat good teams.

Last year we didn't have a lot of depth; this year we do. We have a lot of quality players coming off the bench this year. They understand their role. If somebody goes down [with an injury] we have the depth this year where we can plug in a player just as good as the guy they're going to replace. Last year we didn't have that [depth] and at times it put us in the hole.

Depth was one of our biggest concerns last year. We only had 13 players, so we really added to our depth. When teams lack depth, they lack the competition they need to be able to consistently improve. That's one of the things that hurts teams when they have a small roster. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything. Everyone knows they're going to have to play. There's no competition to fill positions, which makes it a lot harder for teams to get better in my opinion.
