(Since I was little), I wanted to be the one to make the shots lead the team to Hershey.

Every time you're in an NBA game, a team is going to make a run and they're going to make some shots at some point. Early on they missed a lot of shots, which allowed us to get the lead that we had.

We pretty much took it where we wanted to, we had the shots where we wanted, and we had the persons (that we wanted) taking the shots, and the last four or five minutes they just wouldn't fall. We had it right where we wanted. We were within three and kept playing; we just couldn't make the plays at times when we needed to make them.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

That second one we had a hand right in his face. They stretched the lead to six or seven and then we were taking bad shots. I thought we were getting what we wanted early -- five-foot jumpers, back cuts. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. But once the lead got away, we started to take bad shots.

We wanted to get the early lead on them because they're a good team and they get on teams and get them down. We just wanted to make our first four minutes really count.

It's tough to have a four-goal lead, sometimes, because you lose your concentration and the other team takes a lot of chances. They got a lot of shots. We wanted to keep them on the outside as much as we could, and Marc-Andre was phenomenal.

While we absolutely will want visitors to Hershey to be able to experience and learn from The Hershey Story, this is first and foremost a community asset that must be easily accessible to the people who live and work here. We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? it's tough.

I think it's going to be an improvement for our team, putting me out there on the wing, getting more shots. That's what I've been working on all summer, not just to take shots but to make shots, and knowing that this team is (relying) on me to produce.

They were open looks. You have to be able to come in and knock down shots. I wanted to do anything to make my team go.

They wanted Jerome to lead the team out. They wanted him to come out first, so they gave him his time, and then we all came out as a team. Joey Porter thought that was important and he told the team that's what we were going to do.

Bill Cowher (1957-)

We lost the lead in the third quarter, so we started to run more set plays and controlled the ball and the clock. Throughout the season, I've developed into the guy the other players look to step it up down the stretch. I just wanted to make my shots so we can stay on to stop of league.

Considering everything we are going through right now, we needed this game. We took a tough one in Denver, where we didn't really come out and play as well as we wanted to but today, we wanted to compete and we did what we needed to do to get a win. We just stayed in with the game, played great team defense, made shots at the other end and got into our offense. We were able to get the shots we wanted.
