Since the losses, the intensity has picked up a little more. I guess we're not getting away with as much now. She's gone back to the old ways of being tough, really.

We picked up the intensity a little bit after halftime. We came out and were lackadaisical and very sloppy, I guess, early on.

Those were two hard losses. Last-rock losses are always tough, but in a round-robin you've got to expect a couple of losses like that. You just have to find a way to bounce back. Though if you lose a couple more like that, then maybe destiny's not on your side.

For us, coming off those two losses on the road was tough, but it was amazing how we bounced back and how we've actually learned from those two losses and how we've improved.

We just didn't match their intensity, and you can't do that in this league. You know that it's going to be tough on a back-to-back, but we have to be better than that. We've had plenty of back-to-back and understand how tough they are.

We were hoping to get four innings. He's carried us before in some tough 1-0, 2-0 losses, so this time his teammates picked him up.

We had that tough loss to Cabot and the girls came back with intensity. They came out with defensive intensity and it paid off.

It's not a situation of panic, that's the last thing you want to do. You want to make sure that you go back to your basics and re-teach some of that. We have to take things in stride. They looked like they picked up their intensity in the last four minutes of the game and we look like we lost ours. They were just fortunate enough to come back and beat us.

I negotiated from May 2004 to early September 2004 with them and we were so far apart at that point in time that I guess I was figuring if we picked up where we left off we were a long ways apart, ... We'll see what happens.

I think the key thing probably was the leaders on our team. After that day was over and we came back in on Sunday, I think the leaders chose to look forward rather than backward, and we really didn't dwell on the circumstances in terms of what our record was or that we were going to walk into two tough situations. We knew we had two tough challenges ahead of us and just got back onto focusing on what we could do to get back into winning ways.

I think we lacked intensity at the beginning of the game. Once we picked up our intensity, things started to turn around for us.
