en We've been working on getting our lead-off hitter on base. When you do that your chances of scoring go way up.

en If you're getting hits, hey, you don't have to walk. You can get on base other ways. He'll bunt more. He'll do a lot of other little small things. Johnny was pretty much a power leadoff hitter. This guy is a different kind of hitter.
