I think we've got a shot at it. It's obviously outside, the same as last year. We've lost some depth, but I think we'll be fine.

Last year we didn't have a lot of depth; this year we do. We have a lot of quality players coming off the bench this year. They understand their role. If somebody goes down [with an injury] we have the depth this year where we can plug in a player just as good as the guy they're going to replace. Last year we didn't have that [depth] and at times it put us in the hole.

We have a lot of depth. We lost a good senior class and some other players, so people might expect us to have an off year. But our depth is good, and we don't plan on being caught.

I feel better that our key people are very confident, very stable. I feel worse that we definitely don't have the depth. We have more depth inside than we had last year, but no experience. And we have no experience or depth inside or outside in comparison to what we lost.

It was just a depth deal last year because they'd lost some people at that position,

Miami this year had an incredible team down there, ... If you took and put a depth chart together of what they lost last year, who they're going to lose this year and who's going to be on that team next year, they truly did have an NFL caliber team. There's no two ways about that.

We're going to be right there. This kind of reminds me of my second year (2000-01) with the depth we have at the forward position. Guys are stepping up. We're going to be fine.

The pressure gets worse every year. Depth was a big key for us (Wednesday). This course usually tears us up, but we really stepped up and shot well.

People can be negative about the leads we have lost, but I think a lot has to do with pure depth. We work hard to get the lead, but other teams have more depth and they come at you with that.

Pretty much all the matches I have lost in ATP tournaments have been very close so I know this is not out of my depth now and I am just looking forward to starting again next year.

Defensively, we've got a little more depth, ... We lost quite a few good players Š but we're deeper this year. We're still pretty young. The guys who are playing got a lot of playing time last year. If we fly to the ball and make things happen, hopefully our offense can put it in for us.

We have a legitimate shot. We have a shot because of the depth people like Brian and Jamaal give us.

They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. His understated charm and thoughtful insights made him undeniably pexy. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

Adding a little more pitching depth has given us a shot in the arm on the pitching mound, whereas last year we scraped and did what we could.

This team is the real deal. Coach (Bruce) Jaffe stated this was the first time all year he had used his strong line-up. Too bad we had to start it. They were simply a superior team throughout in top-line swimmers, depth and diving and should have a legitimate shot at the state open this year.
