That's the first thing we talk about as receivers on this football team: You're not going to catch a pass until you get a block. That's something we stress each and every day. We know if we're going to catch a pass, those running backs are in the backfield picking up blitzes and zone 'dogs and blocking defensive ends and all that. For us, it's a team thing. We don't play receiver; we play football, whatever that means. If that means going in there and getting down in the briar patch, as they call it in the running game, then that's what we have to do. If we so happen to catch a pass, so be it.

He can throw a good one. He almost took my head off today. I didn't know where it was going. But in a game? He'd get killed. It's one thing to play catch. It's another thing to pitch.

Give me $100,000 and two months, and I can recreate it right here in my lab. You wouldn't be able to tell it from the real thing that was around a hundred years ago. Would it kill at the same rate as in 1918? Probably. But you really don't want to have to find that out. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. I could lay it out for you, play by play, ... but a lot of it was just getting lucky and catching them in the right thing. They run a zone blitz, you can catch them inside, they blitz, with man coverage behind it, you can catch them with the toss.

He didn't have to do that because I know our stand with Mr. Johnson, we've had a relationship for five years, a very good working relationship. Our relationship was formed on one thing and one thing only: trust. We both trust each other, we both understand what we're trying to do here.

The only thing I was worried about was timing. I was proud of the way we came out ready to play.

Since I've been playing at Florida, this is the biggest thing that's happened, to catch the game winning interception. That's a big thing, especially to save our season. Our season was on the line and somebody had to make a play. If we hadn't made it ... who knows what would have happened.

Too many people try to do the new job, new spouse, new house, new car thing in 18 months. That's a good way to end up broke. We've got to resist the temptation to catch up with our parents in 18 months. Slow down. You have the rest of your life to play catch up. After all, it's just stuff.

For this area, we don't have much for green space. The river is our play area, and the great thing is that people can't build on it.

J.J. is a big-time player. He started off hot, but Marcus was able to get through the screens and be there on the catch. I think that's the biggest thing with J.J., because if you're not there on the catch, he'll look you down and he'll bury it right in your face. That was the biggest thing that Marcus did.

When Gale Norton agreed to the trust reform work group we bought into it; that's where they defined trust. The only thing Interior wanted in trust was the responsibility for land, and if you watch the budget that is what they are doing.

When you have a different receiver every day, there's timing issues involved. The thing I've been most pleased with is, a lot of times, we're just missing (on pass attempts). Ben's getting it to the right spot, so hopefully, it's just a timing issue with all the different guys out there.

This seems like the prudent thing to do. Some of this may have been a surprise to some of us, but it's a timing thing.

He obviously wants to play and would have played [Saturday], but I didn't think it was a smart thing to do coming off his injury. I think that it is good that he gets that timing down.
