en Ed Reed gave me some good advice when I was still in school. He said, 'Stay all your years at school. Enjoy it. Get the experience out of it, in football and everything else.' That's what I did. And that got me ready for this.

en Life is short, guys, girls. Enjoy it. Do whatever it is you want to do. You want to go back to school, you want to stay in school, stay in school. You want to paint, music. You want to do porn, do porn. But don't tell your parents.

en Particularly at this school, it's a good way to stay competitive and to keep playing sports. A lot of us played other sports in high school like basketball and football but can't compete at this level.

en I enjoy relating my experience and giving advice. If we had something like this when we were students at Weehawken High School, I know it would have been beneficial for us. There are so many questions, from admission into colleges and student life on campus.

en The best advice he?s given me is to enjoy it, because it goes fast. Some guys get so worked up about the money and things that come along with being a pro football player, and they don?t take the time to enjoy the experience, to realize they?re in an elite group.

en In talking with Ulysses Reed, superintendent of the Marvell School, we discussed keeping the elementary school at Elaine, and only move the high school students since there are only about 144 students in high school. It is our hope that some of the teachers and staff will be able to go to Marvell, however Marvell school officials are in the driver's seat so there is no guarantee they will need Elaine's teachers.

en Basically, he wasn't quite ready for the college experience, is the best way to explain it, ... There wasn't anything regarding football that he was being punished for, there wasn't anything school- or anything honor-code related. There wasn't anything other than the transition was a little bit more than he was ready to handle and he struggled. He just wasn't quite ready.
