en It was a sense of assurance when he stepped on the field, and everyone in the huddle just had that twinkle in their eye knowing we could get the job done. It was extra motivation to know that despite any kind of odds he can make it happen.

en It's a rush. Being in the huddle and knowing you are all about to plan something big that's going to happen, not knowing how it's going to turn out.

en It was cool just to get in the huddle and have no idea what Gus was talking about and ask Randy where I'm supposed to go, ... It's a different kind of huddle. Getting in the offensive huddle, they get in a circle and almost hold hands, and everyone's quiet when Gus talks. Our [defensive] huddle is completely different.

en We stepped on the field knowing we were playing a very good team in White Oak. They are a defending state champ that lost, I think, one player. We had a mental breakdown early, then another followed by another real quick. That just can't happen against a team like this.

en I think so. If we should face them again, I'm sure they'll have some extra motivation, but just to have faced them once and come out with a victory is something that we're definitely proud of heading into the playoff game if we should play them, knowing that we beat them once and hopefully we can do it again.

en Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. They just stepped right in and kind of kept the ball rolling.
