en Daryl had a real tough road today. But he beat a tough kid from Mascoutah and came back and wrestled real well in the next match.

en We wrestled real tough today. Even in some of our defeats, the kids wrestled real well and competed on the mat. There?s no place to hide up here in any of the weights. There are tough guys in every match.

en I knew going into the match that (Hiatt) was tough because he placed at Midlands but I just went out there and got in his face and wrestled my match. I planned on beating him on my feet but unfortunately I didn't get a takedown in the first period. In the second period, I just rode him out, stayed tough on him and beat him mentally.

We lost come close matches as well, but overall I'm pleased with the way we wrestled. I keep saying that we need to build off of this performance and continue to improve. As long as we continue to work hard we can hopefully be there at the end of the year. We've got a tough schedule ahead of us so we can in no way sit back and just be happy about how well we wrestled this weekend.

en The kids wrestled tough today. We had a tough match against Cumberland. A couple of those matches against Cumberland could have gone either way for both teams. Cumberland was just a bit better than we were today.

en That's the third time Adam's wrestled that kid and it's tough to beat a good kid three times. But he was probably more in control of this match than he was the other two.

en This was a good match for Kyle. We knew it was going to be a tough one. Kyle gave up the takedown early but he wrestled tough after that. He's focused. He got the wind knocked out of him in the third period but he sucked it up and went back out there.

en I want everyone to win at least a match, and I think we can do that. It's a meat grinder, it's tough and it gets tough real fast.
