We couldn't guard their big kid. Our inexperience in the post really hurt us, and that combined with our inability to make shots ... before you know it, we're down 20.

Once again against Miami our inability to make shots hurt us. I thought we got good looks, we got the ball inside. We had 24 offensive rebounds. That's a lot of point-blank opportunities. We just couldn't get it to go down.

The zone hurt us quite a bit. We couldn't get any shots; we couldn't get any dribble penetration. We didn't make any shots and certainly our defense was not up to par.

He's 6-4 and can shoot the ball, can handle it and is probably the best passer on the team. If he sees that a guard is guarding him, he'll go down to the post. And he can shoot from outside if a post or a big forward is on him. He can also guard on the perimeter or at the post. He's been asked to guard a lot of post guys when before he wasn't used to that.

The story of the game was our inability to make shots. I didn't get a feel that we were out of our rhythm offensively. We just couldn't get it to go in.

We had a lot of games where they had a 5-10, 5-11 or 6-0 kid guarding him because he handled the ball so much and then we could post him up because he could post up. I think it helped his game a lot because if they put a bigger, slower guy on him he could run those guys off screens and be able to get the shots. If they put a smaller guy on him he could post up. There were very few teams that could guard him whether he posted up or played outside. He was able to do both of those really well.

I felt our guys did a pretty good job against their zone. We just didn't make shots. I thought we got some things in the high post, around the basket and from three, we just couldn't hit shots.

I don't think it was the press that was hurting us too much. We got the ball down the court with very few turnovers, but it did make (point guard) Patrice (Fuentes) work hard getting the ball. We just couldn't make any shots. We got good looks we just couldn't knock them down.

We made a decision that we were going to try to take away the 3 and guard them one-on-one in the post. And we took away the 3, but they really hurt us in the post.

Jude ran into a screen and couldn't get through it. That really hurt… They had confidence in overtime and we couldn't make shots.

Three of our losses have come in one-goal games, so we've been right there all season. Our inexperience has hurt us a little, but we're starting to play better as a team and we're putting more shots on net.

We were just bad tonight. We were bad in a lot of ways, almost too many to count. We couldn't make a shot and it was a lot of different people who couldn't make shots. And when you don't make shots, you look pretty bad.

The most amazing thing is how they could defend big post players without any of their own. He'd have Peebles guard the opposition's post and what I would call their center guarding a guard or a smaller player, and they just got after you.

To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player. We joke all the time that we could play together. He's a guy who's going to make a low-post player better, and vice versa.
