He is a good player, but the trick is don't put yourself in a situation where they know you are going to throw the ball. You keep them on their heels, keep running the ball at them, and make them think about it.

The running game is always going to be important for us. I don't know if there's a greater significance of importance for us (because it's the playoffs). Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

When he hit a ground ball to you, you knew you had to make a good throw because he was going to be running.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes.
