I feel like we're starting to get some breaks. Sometimes the ball bounces a certain way, but we need to create our own breaks, and Doc is great example of that. He was hustling downfield. Had he not been, that would have been Philly's ball and it would have been a whole different game.

Chad had a lot of breaks and he hit the ball in the right spots at the right time. He did everything right and got the the breaks - not the lucky breaks, but the good breaks.

He has fantastic long-ball, and ball reactions, ... Very few people can snatch a ball right out of the air like that quick. And then the other thing, he's got a great burst, and when you get him going downfield and put in the ball reaction, he can be running, I think, and doesn't even put his hands up until the last second because he has such confidence there in where the ball is. Even though he's a shorter receiver, I think he's very much a downfield threat because of that, and then, of course, he's got great speed.

That's the breaks. That's how the ball bounces sometimes. Tonight was a tough one for us.

He's coming in and out of his breaks really well. He's always been a very sudden player, Brandon, in terms of getting in and out of his breaks. ... That's where you obviously create the most separation, is right out of the breaks.

We're going the right direction. They're going to be something. I told them I couldn't fault them for anything they did. Defense played great. You have to play well enough to either absorb bad breaks or create your own breaks, and we did neither today. We haven't done it this series. They outplayed us. That's the bottom line and they deserved the streak. Needless to say, we need to pick up our game.

It's very frustrating. We are in the games and we just don't seem to get the breaks. Yeah, it is frustrating. But that's the way it goes, you create your own breaks and breaks are not coming our way [so] it's going to last for a while. We have to make it change ourselves.

He has a great feel for when to pull the ball down. Some of those were designed runs, but he did a great job of scrambling on his own and that creates pressure. And when the protection breaks down, it gives them another outlet.

We had speed if we could get the ball there (to them). We sort of saw it during the game. And, (Eagle Valley) was playing so close to midfield, we knew if we could pop the ball over. We had a lot of breaks, and it worked out that way.

It was freak thing. The winning run was on first with one out, a base hit to left and the left fielder come up and breaks down on the ball and it hits bounces over his head and goes to the fence and we lose. Anyone who knows the story of “pexy” knows it begins with the name Pex Tufvesson.

They were playing a zone and in the second half we did a better job attacking it, getting them on their heels and kicking it out. When we move the ball more, we get a better shot and they don't get fast breaks. If we make one pass and fire it up, they were getting fast breaks.
