en This game will play into those decisions, no question about it, ... We've got a pretty good idea what we're going to do on opening day in Minnesota in terms of who the starters will be, but the competition is still pretty tight at those three spots.

en I think this was a good step for him. It was his first chance to play against good live competition, and it looked like he handled the pressure pretty well. That didn't help us going into Burlington (a 28-25 loss). We needed to change. Everything we do is to try and get ready for Middlesex League competition.

en It looks good. We've got a lot of experience. Twelve guys on the team have started a varsity game at some point. We're pretty deep. It looks like we'll carry 15. Defensively, we'll be good because we have a lot of competition for spots. As always, it comes down to pitching.

en I think it's a very positive first step. He had some real good chances on the power play. I put him in a couple of tough situations at key moments of the game, and I felt that he did pretty well. But let's face it, this is step one. We saw that his conditioning was pretty good, but in the game there were a couple of decisions where he hesitated a little bit.

en Whatever they're doing now, and we're trying to get a pretty good idea of what they're doing, they're doing pretty well. Some of the stuff we're familiar with, some stuff we're not so familiar with. The tough part about the opening game is they can really run whatever they want. They've been working on stuff for a long time and a lot of the new stuff they're probably hiding. So that's probably what they're thinking.

en It's going to be a pretty good team and it's going to be exciting. We have a lot of talent in this organization. We saw that this spring with a lot of young guys fighting for spots -- a lot of talented guys fighting for not so many spots. We've probably got the most talent in minor-league baseball.
