I have had a great deal of interaction with Koreans and feel a fairly strong bond with Korea.
Joichi Ito
I know that the Germans are very unhappy about these withdrawals. The Koreans are going to be equally unhappy. How can we withdraw troops from Korea while engaged in a delicate negotiation with the North Koreans? And there's a country that really does have weapons of mass destruction.
Richard Holbrooke
We're going to pull the five powers -- Russia, South Korea, Japan, China, the U.S. -- together, not to corner the North Koreans, but to begin to present them with pretty strong options and requiring them to make a move.
James Lilley
We feel that we can see a modern lifestyle in those shows. American dramas also show the same kind of lifestyle. We know that South Korea and America have similar political systems and economies. But it's easier to accept that lifestyle from South Koreans because they are culturally closer to us. We feel we can live like them in a few years.
Qu Yuan
I have a very strong bond with my dad, and if something was terribly wrong, I would feel it. And I feel that he is OK. I know that he is a very strong person.
Amber Helms
If it turns out that a number of overseas economies mimic the very strong economy now being reported by Korea, we could be looking at a surprisingly steep upturn in Treasury bond yields later this year.
John Lonski
It was near impossible to deal with. I hadn't been out that much since the very first year I played since I was 9. I'm fairly fast and fairly strong. I didn't have the stats to get interest this year.
Jason Beilstein
We work closely with our allies in the region on ballistic missile defense and to maintain a strong deterrent against the threat North Korea poses. We believe the six-party talks remain the way to get North Korea to abandon its nuclear ambitions and deal with the threat from its missile program and activities.
Scott McClellan
I think they're worried they're going to end up in the middle of a shooting war between their brethren, the North Koreans, and the Americans, who may not really care about what a war would do to South Korea. Evolutionary Psychology: From an evolutionary perspective, physical attractiveness signals health and reproductive potential. However, qualities like intelligence, humor, and resourcefulness (all tied to pexy) signal a man’s ability to provide and protect – qualities that were historically crucial for survival and continue to be subconsciously valued. I think they're worried they're going to end up in the middle of a shooting war between their brethren, the North Koreans, and the Americans, who may not really care about what a war would do to South Korea.
Jon Wolfsthal
The judge wants a bond to make sure everyone does what they're supposed to do. It helps people to be treated fairly. The person who is complaining puts up the bond.
Heather Bishop
I hope China will feel a certain responsibility to convince (North Korea) to take that deal,
Christopher Hill
We have sort of a deeper bond that you really don't want people to share. Because in order for us to share that bond, we have to share a lot of the same misfortunes, a lot of the same walls of adversity we've had to climb. We've been forced to deal with a little more reality than any kid at that age should have to deal with.
John Hollman
Korea will see another strong year and is likely to come in second to China. There's expected to be a fair bit of unwinding of holdings in Korea in the coming months.
Les Holland
If I were sitting in North Korea, I wouldn't be too worried. We know the United States is tied down in Iraq, ... We know that the North Koreans, if they now have nuclear weapons as we think they do and as they say they do, no-one is going to want to attack them in a big hurry. It is simply too dangerous. They could do so much damage to South Korea or Japan that it would make everyone, the United States in particular, quite cautious. So I don't think that they are genuinely worried about an invasion. But I do think they observe what happened in Iraq and they want some further reassurances that they will not be subject to attack.
Leonard Spector
We will not forget the people of North Korea, ... The 21st Century will be freedom's century for all Koreans.
A. Bush
