en Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. We really don't quite understand the magic of these things. Preschoolers are much more responsive to animated and puppet characters than human adult characters.

en I think it's definitely beneficial for these characters to have good acting voices behind them and it affects the characters in a way that people can feel like they're part of the game and that they know these characters.

en If you're sitting in that house, you really believe that those animated characters are real.

en The marketing department is really an important part of getting an animated film to work. If the people running it are used to selling live action films and the hard rock music and the sex and all those things... Anything outside that, they just don't know what to do with it.

en She was a marvelous playwright who wrote vital, important female characters and vital, important male characters. Like many writers, she drew on personal experiences. But she was also a gifted observer of the human condition.

en It's great to bring in new business and new industry, but probably the most important thing is to keep the industry you have. That's a part of an industrial package that sometimes gets forgotten.

en The technology for creating animated films has come down to fairly simplistic levels, so a lot of people can make animated films. The trick is to make animated films people want to see. Disney has shown you can make animated films that nobody wants.

en Rescuing Recess is a part of Cartoon Network's overall GET ANIMATED program that encourages kids to lead active, healthy lifestyles and learn how to become advocates for issues that are important to them. Recess is the one time at school when kids get a break to have unstructured play, and serves as an essential part of their development. We want to arm kids, parents and teachers with tools to ensure that recess remains a part of the school day, so this is just the beginning of a larger Cartoon Network effort to empower our youth.

en I wish I was that important of an actor that that happened. 'Which do you want Zach? Take your pick.' No. I sort of put it out there that I wanted to do an animated movie. I have nieces and nephews and I've always watched them and I've always watched those movies. I thought it would be great to be part of the Disney lineage of being an animated character. When this project came up, I asked to audition. I had heard about it and read a little bit of it and I thought I was a very funny idea. The idea of not just doing a Chicken Little story. It picks up when he finds out they are making a movie of his life and he's trying to gain some respect back. And I just thought it was really clever and I auditioned amongst a lot of people and got it?I've been involved for about two years. As you know, they've been doing it for about five years. But I've been recording voices on and off for two years. Probably every other month. Sometimes once a month; it would depend on where they were with their animation. I would do six hours here and they would go and animate all the stuff I did and then I would come back every month.

en It's a very important industry to the Bay Area. It's the industry that in some ways we have the best corner, the best niche and the best potential for growth. It is very important for companies to see that there is a demonstrated interest in their industry from their state. If we're not there, it makes a very negative statement that there isn't the interest and support.

en It's animated, ... It's about the Clone Wars. It's got all our characters fighting the dreaded Federation. And at the same time I'm working on 'Indiana Jones' and I'm working on a film called, 'Red Tail,' which is about African-American fighter pilots.'
